Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox was a flute, piano as well as harpsichord at Royal Academy of Music London for three years in the 70s. The money she earned came from the student allowance, and relied off on a part-time job to supplement her funds. Lennox as she was studying in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was dissatisfied in her performance when in comparison to her peers. She started to think about alternatives. Lennox was a flute player in the band Dragons Playground in 1976. The group did not appear on the talent contest New Faces on I.T.V. Between 1977 and 1980 she served as the singer-songwriter for The Tourists, a British Pop band. The band was where she made friends with Dave Stewart and together they created their duo Eurythmics. Lennox began work on Diva in 1992, her first solo album. The album was a massive success with regard to selling and the critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album came out in November of 2014. The C.D. Lennox has picked her most favored jazz, blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera features four keyboard tracks. The E.P. The album is a companion to her Now I let you go... artwork, which was displayed at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. The album is her first independently-released album. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is a Scottish politician, philanthropist and musician and singer. In the late 70s, she achieved minor fame as part the group known as The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international notoriety in the 80s under the name Eurythmics. Lennox began her own solo career when she released her debut album Diva in the year 1992. This was the source of many hit songs like"Why" and "Walking through the Broken Glass. Medusa, her 1995 album studio has cover versions of the songs No MoreI Love Yous as well as The Whiter Shade of Pale. She is credited with six studio albums solo as well as a compilation.
