Arike Ogunbowale

Arike is an American basketball player who is a member of the Dallas Wings, a team that is part of the Women's National Basketball Association. She was drafted with the 5th spot during the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Dallas Wings. Arike Ogunbowale was a Milwaukee Wisconsin native born to Yolanda Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26 years old) and Dare Ogunbowale (19 years) are her two older brothers. She was the youngest of her family, and her parents spoiled her the best. Gregory's father was a member of the Nigerian Army. Ogunbowale has a thriving family history. Her mother Yolanda was a softball player for DePaul and her brother Dare also plays soccer. Her cousin Endia Ollie plays Volleyball with Tennessee State. The name of Ogunbowale was listed on the honor roll of her high school for three consecutive years. The high school she attended has earned her acclaim and fame. Arike graduated from high school education in Divine Savior Holy Angels High School, located in her hometown. While at school, she played three years of varsity football. Ogunbowale led her team to spectacular victories through her amazing ability to score multiple times. In her high-school career she's scored 1,477 points and 739 rebound. Ogunbowale won gold medals at the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship and 2013 FIBA U17 World Championship, and the 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship. In July 2014 Ogunbowale was chosen as a part of the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale was also selected to be part of the ACC All-Freshman Team for her first time in a collegiate game. Even congratulated by the Kobe Bryant after she hit various big shots in the NCCA Tournament. Though she's still only a freshman she has earned herself the status of an outstanding basketball player and is certain to follow her dream. Arike's net worth, as per a reliable source is about $5 million. Ogunbowale is a pro basketball player who excels in many other aspects. She plays soccer as well and even has won State Cups for the Lake County United Soccer Club. She also even played piano for more than seven years.
